Fire Back : LA is about what has been done and what needs to be done since the 3 fires devastated the people and structures of Altadena/Pasadena, Palisades and Malibu areas in Los Angeles January 2025. With over 200,000 people being evacuated and over 20,000 structures burned to rubble and ash, most of the fire survivors have been left with nothing. The cities and counties permitting process for rebuilding takes months for approvals due to the amount of people in need. The concerning safety factors that have to be considered are the lead and toxins found in the debris and waste from the burned down structures. This delay has left people homeless, traumatized and wondering if they will ever get back to their neighborhood or community.
Fire Back : LA has partnered with there Non-Profit Fiscal Sponsor Lion Speaks, www.lionspeaks.org a 501(c)3 tax ID #85-1637060. We have also partnered with some of the best charities in the affected areas to vet and deliver help to the people with short and long term support. Our help is being done not only through the charities but through our Non-Profit HipHop Benefit Concert that will take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, January 10th, 2026.This will be a four hour event beginning at 4pm-8pm with 12-15 artists performing, testimonials from a few fire survivor families and awards honoring the hard work of the first responders and fire departments. We will use this opportunity to stream on multiple platforms to enlighten the world of what still needs to be done and how we can help prevent this type of catastrophe in the near future. Commemorating the anniversary of the fires in January 2026, we will celebrate the progress. Talk about where we are now and how we can continue to give assistance to the people in need with our event. People will be able to donate on our Fire Back : LA websitewww.firebackla.com prior to the event, during the event on screen with a QR code and afterwards to continue the support for the fire survivors. We want to thank our donors and sponsors for helping us put together this event. One hundred percent (100%) of the concert proceeds will go to the fire survivors and rebuilding the areas affected by the fires.
